Sesshoumaru with a much older Rin… a glimpse into the future (or a passable one anyway).
In me and my friends RP, Rin is all grown up, and it focuses some (or a lot) on how Sessoumaru feels and felt about her, his confusion about said feelings, and what it means for the future, since he is an immortal being, and Rin is not. It touches on the topic brought up by Rin in the final season of the anime… where in Rin asks Sesshoumaru if he would miss her is she were to die… to which he doesn’t give much of a reply, and tells her not to mention such silly things (or something to that effect). Now, he finds himself asking that very same question, as he holds her closely, knowing they’re time is short. It’s all about realizing your in love, how it changes things, and coming to terms with the fact you’ll one day have to live without that person, the one you’ve come to care for more then anything else. It’s a rather sad love story, but it’s inevitable, it’s not perfect… it’s real. The title of this is also the title of our RP… if only time could stand still.
"Before you… time …it didn’t mean anything to me. But now…"
This piece was drawn a long time ago on paper, and I was never happy with it, as it seamed incomplete. Finally one day I got around to scanning it, and finished it in PSP8. It really helped the mood of the whole picture, and I’m happy with how it turned out. ^^ And no, I didn’t make the background. XD It’s a stock image… so no claims for copyrights on that. ><; I still feel bad about using stock images… but oh well. =\
