The Wait… is almost over…

Fanart of Dr. Sheldon Cooper and Penny from the TV show ‘The Big Bang Theory’.

Obviously a scene/moment depicted years in the future. ^^ But as far as I’m concerned this is how it will be one day, that’s what I believe (maybe not exactly like this, but you get the idea). If by some off chance you’re one of the few people who have no idea who these people are or what this show is (what rock have you been living under? lol j/k), I highly suggest you check it out, it’s amazing.

Members who signed up had to pick a free day on the countdowns list to commemorate and submit a fan-work of some kind on that exact day. A fanfic, fanart, fanvid, article, photo manip, or whatever else you could think of, as we counted down each day to the season premier. It’s been a long road, and there’s been a ton of awesome stuff submitted. This is my contribution, and I’m quite proud of how it turned out. =3



As anyone who knows me or my work will remember, I don’t like to exact copy an already existing image. That said, I did use several reference pictures to help me with this (especially with their profiles, which I wanted to be just right), but otherwise you won’t find this or any individual pics of them that look exactly like this. This picture is unique. <3

Though you may notice a resemblance to an earlier piece of fanart I did of another couple. [link] I really just love this pose, and I’d been wanting to update it or use it again for some time. This piece provided the perfect opportunity, yay! I think I like it even better with Sheldon and Penny. lol

I’d like to dedicate my entry to both my parents, who are not only both fans of TBBT (my mother is also a S/P shipper), but they are also the reason I was able to finish this and get it posted on time. The cord to my laptop broke days before the deadline, and I wasn’t going to be able to get a new one for at least a week. Thanks to some quick thinking, my mother found a way to fix it, and my father actually did the fixing, allowing me to get everything finished with time to spare.
