This is Edan Ashedah, my original character, seen here in disguise as an elf.

Edan, like most Incubi and some Vampires, is able to shape shift, to a degree anyway. He can’t change into some other creature or a different shape, but he is able to alter or hide certain aspects of his appearance enough to blend in when need be. Most of the time he’s had to disguise himself as a human, but when he found himself basically thrown into the middle of a land populated and ruled by Elves, he changed accordingly. Those are pretty much his natural ears; he just doesn’t have to hide them while around elves, since theirs are very similar.

Living as an elf has brought on a new set of problems though, since the Elves are hated and at war with another race, a war Edan actually has no part in, and would prefer it stay that way. It all started thousands of years ago, and it’s become rather pointless, they hate each other because they’ve been taught to hate each other because they’re fighting because they have been fighting because way back when their ancestors may have done something that implies the other side was in the wrong. In a small way though, I think he’s positively influencing some individuals’ viewpoints on the war, so maybe he’s helped plant the seeds of peace, at least for a few people. Edan told himself he wouldn’t get involved, it isn’t his world, it’s not his war… but over time, somehow he can’t help wanting to help both sides find common ground, since no one else seems to even want to try. His life and his feelings for others took a big turn, he never used to care about the world or what went on in it, but this place and it’s people have changed him…. for the better, I think. For the first time in a long time, I think he’s actually happy, and he has friends, and it warms my heart. *hugs Edan plushy* =^,^=

Oh and, this is also the first time I’ve done Edan in color! =o I don’t think I can ever go back, look how pretty he is!!! Y-Y <3




Freaking long description for this, especially considering it was just a quick piece I did to practice with my new program. lol But this is the first time I’ve posted a picture of Edan in his elf form, so felt compelled to right about it. XD Dunno if anyone cares, but I care, so there it is. ^^

YAY for Photoshop CS, it’s everything I dreamed it would be!! 8D I was able to finish this a LOT faster, with an even better result! Mostly the smooth lines are what I’m in love with, no having to go back and edit the lines to look how I want… >> It’s smoother, more accurate, and less glitchy, which equals awesome! X3 Still used PSP8 for a few little things, mostly cuz I’m not yet sure how to do everything on PhotoshopCS, it has sooooooo much to it, gonna take some getting used to. lol

Anyhow, blabbed enough, hope you like my lil experiment piece. Next time I wanna do a big epic piece, but we’ll see. ;3
